Berdasarkan laporan Speedtest, Telkomsel adalah operator seluler
Internet seluler Telkomsel tercatat memiliki median kecepatan unduh (download ) 31,04 Mbps, jauh melampaui operator-operator besar lain di skala nasional.
Di peringkat kedua ada XL dengan median kecepatan unduh seluler 20,79 Mbps, diikuti IM3 Ooredoo 18,88 Mbps, dan Smartfren 18,53 Mbps.
Kemudian 3 (Tri) jadi operator seluler dengan median kecepatan unduh terendah pada periode ini, yaitu 18,47 Mbps.
Riset ini dilakukan Speedtest di sejumlah wilayah Indonesia yang memiliki minimal 300 pengguna internet broadband seluler.
Speedtest juga melaporkan, saat ini kecepatan internet seluler Indonesia berada di peringkat ke-98 dunia, dengan median kecepatan unduh nasional 23,98 Mbps.
Angka tersebut masih jauh dari kecepatan unduh internet seluler global yang mediannya 42,82 Mbps.
