Hanya ada 6 Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) di Kalimantan Selatan yang masuk daftar Top 1.000 sekolah menurut pemeringkatan dari Lembaga Tes Masuk Perguruan Tinggi (PTMPT) 2022. Pemeringkatan tersebut dilakukan dari 23.657 sekolah dan diikuti oleh 745.115 peserta dari seluruh Indonesia.
SMAN Banua Kabupaten Banjar menjadi SMA terbaik di Kalimantan Selatan dengan meraih total nilai 613,49 dalam Ujian Tertulis Berbasis Komputer (UTBK) 2022. Dengan capaian tersebut SMAN Banu menempati peringkat 24 secara nasional.
SMA Kalimantan Selatan lainnya yang masuk dalam daftar Top 1.000 sekolah 2022 adalah Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Insan Cendekia Tanah Laut dengan nilai 581,71. Dikuiti SMAN 7 Kota Banjarmasin dengan nilai 527,05.
Setelahnya ada SMAN 1 Banjarbaru dengan nilai UTBK 526,51. Kemudian SMAN 2 Banjarbaru dengan nilai 524,03, serta SMAAAN 1 Banjarmasin dengn nilai 521,1.
Berikut ini metode pemeringkatan Top 1.000 Sekolah LTMPT 2022:
Sekolah dengan jumlah peserta yang mengikuti UTBK 2022 (lulusan 2022) sebanyak > 40 orang. Jumlah sekolah yang memenuhi kriteria ini sebanyak 3.381 sekolah. Jumlah Peserta yang memenuhi kriteria penilaian UTBK 2022 sebanyak 515.165 orang. Nilai UTBK 2022 dihitung berdasarkan hasil 60% TPS + 40% TKA. Sekolah diurutkan berdasarkan Nilai Total tertinggi hingga terendah. Diambil 1.000 sekolah dengan Nilai Total tertinggi. (Baca: 10 SMA Terbaik Menurut Nilai UTBK 2022 )
